Proposed credential: Certified Reverse Mortgage Advisor (CRMA). This credential name and acronym are provisional pending trademark clearance. Neither designation has been legally cleared, and neither is a government, HUD, FHA, or NMLS credential.

What file coaching is for

Originators and other professionals sometimes need a second set of eyes on one reverse mortgage file: leftover cash after a remaining first, a PACE or CalHFA payoff, flood or fire insurance binding, a non-borrowing spouse, or whether HECM, proprietary, or a reverse second is the honest product conversation.

Jay Zayer, CRMP, plans to offer that review as Academy coaching. Coaching is education and case discussion. It is not a lender underwriting decision, not a substitute for HUD counseling, and not legal or tax advice.

Price and scope

$595 per file. One file means one property and one borrower household as presented. Coaching is not included in the $199 CRMA tuition. Optional software tools are priced separately on tools.
